IT’S WIN, WIN, WIN! AT THE DSS SUMMER FAMILY FIESTA

Children, parents enjoy unique all-in-one festival

The DSS Summer Family Fiesta has drawn a great response as children and parents have been making their way to the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, over the first four days of the show.

The Fiesta brings together the Recreation and Games Festival, Summer Food Festival and the Hobbies and Crafts Festival along with daily raffles and prize draws and is proving a big draw for families looking for a fun day out.

Damas, Wild Wadi, Grand Cinemas and Round Table Pizza are offering mega prizes and eleven lucky winners have already been announced. Daily raffles means there are plenty of opportunities left for those visitors feeling lucky as well ample time to enter the Damas "Purchase and win" raffle, where three lucky winners will take home a Damas watch worth Dhs 5000, courtesy of Damas.

Among the lucky winners so far have been: Abdullah Hamad Al Shagawi of Saudi Arabia, Zahra S. Jawad and Mohammed Abdulla of Bahrain, Deepika Chopra from India, Nada Al Saleh of Saudi Arabia, Amal Mohammed Abbas of Kuwait, Hassan Bilal Saleh of UAE, Manal Mohammed from Syria and Khalid Qasar from Lebanon, all of whom won the entry ticket draw. Khalid Mohammed of Bahrain and Meera Ahmed Khalfan of the UAE were the lucky winners of the Damas Shop and win promotions.

With the end of the summer holidays fast approaching, children have been having a whale of a time on the rides, computer games and the assorted entertainment events at the show, while the accompanying adults have found the delicious array of food and the heritage and crafts festival a big attraction.

The DSS Summer Family Fiesta, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre runs daily till the 26 August and is being held alongside the Dubai Summer Surprises. This unique event features the best in entertainment, gaming, hobbies and crafts, designed to attract visitors of all age groups as well as a two day Barista Competition, organised by Illy, where leading baristas from the country’s coffee chains battle it out to prove who is the numero uno coffee maker.
