Largest Ever Careers Exhibition for UAE Nationals


7th edition of Careers UAE expands by 90% to bring together UAE Nationals and leading local and international businesses looking to recruit young and talented individuals

The 7th annual Careers UAE, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), will grow by 90% in exhibition space this year, providing the choice platform to enable UAE Nationals to meet with recruiters and managers from the world’s leading local and international businesses.

As one of the most anticipated events of the year, Careers UAE will feature leading companies from key commercial sectors in Financial Services, Hospitality & Tourism, Oil & Gas, Training, Education and other Government and private enterprises

For talented UAE Nationals looking to jump start their careers, Careers UAE 2007 will give them direct access to professionals and trainers from the world’s highest rated companies, all under one roof. Leading businesses have been keen to participate in the exhibition as it gives them the chance to meet with talented and career focused nationals.

Some of the companies exhibiting at Careers UAE include Al Futtaim, Dubai Holding, Dubai International Financial Centre, Ernst & Young, Maersk Kanoo LLC, Ministry of Residential Affairs, Rotana Hotels, Shell EP International, Transco, and WS Atkins & Partners Overseas.

According to Mr Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of DWTC, “The response from companies exhibiting at Careers UAE this year has been overwhelming. There is huge interest from some of the top names in business to meet directly with UAE’s budding talent.”

UAE nationals will have opportunities to network with CEOs, Human Resource managers and training managers to discuss a wide variety of job and career opportunities. In addition to the mixed sessions, female nationals will also get the chance to meet with recruiters in exclusive female-only sessions.

Commenting on the unique Training opportunities offered at the event, Mr Al Marri added, “During the event, visitors can also take part in free, specialised training courses which allow nationals to improve their career skills by interacting with professional training managers. The free workshops have always been a popular feature of our Careers fairs.”

Open exclusively for UAE Nationals, Careers UAE 2007 will be held in Halls 1 & 2 and Zabeel Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). The event will take place from 13 – 15 March 2007 and is open from 10 am to 8 pm daily.
