DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2007 OPENS TOMORROW
THOUSANDS WILL VISIT REGION'S LARGEST GATHERING OF BOATS, YACHTS, SUPPLIES AND SERVICES

The 15th Dubai International Boat Show, organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, will officially open tomorrow (Tuesday 13 March) and will welcome more than 25,000 visitors and participants over the next five days.
Taking place from the 13 to 17 March at the Dubai International Marine Club, the event will be the largest display of boats, marine supplies and services in the Middle East, attracting individual and trade buyers from across the region.
More than 720 international companies are exhibiting at the show all of whom have been putting their final preparations in place during the last few days.
Amongst the attractions will be 142 luxury power and sailing boats on the water, in addition to the inaugural Dive Middle East Exhibition (DMEX) which will bring together the leading names from the world of dive equipment, supplies and services.
Furthermore, there will be a large presence from local yacht manufacturers Gulf Craft and AS Marine as well as local dealers ART Marine and Duboats. Some of the most famous names in the leisure marine world, including Azimut-Benetti, Sunseeker and Fairline, will also be on display.
"With such a fantastic array of luxury yachts and state-of-the-art boating equipment on show, excitement is building all the time ahead of tomorrow's grand opening," said Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General, Dubai World Trade Centre.
"Add to that the lure of warm Arabian weather and hospitality, the 2007 Dubai International Boat Show will be the most impressive event to date and we look forward to welcoming thousands of visitors."
The Dubai International Boat Show is open daily over the course of the show from 3pm to 9.30pm.
The show is open free of charge to trade visitors with general public tickets costing AED 35 per person. Access to the on-water marina area may be restricted at times and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times.
As well as free on-site parking at the Dubai International Boat Show, there is also plenty of free off-site parking which is located just 3 minutes from the show, along Sufouh Road. Visitors parking in the off-site car park can use the frequent free shuttle bus to and from the venue.
